Tea in Bangladesh :
Green Gold in Bangladesh : The Black Tea Country

> > > Tea industry in Bangladesh (complete gallery pictures)

The perfect cup of tea ? Well, firstly you must never use tea bags, because the tea dust pollutes it. You should use 2.5g of tea leaves with 190mL of water leave it to brew for five minutes. If you like milk tea, put the milk in last so that you can gauge the strength of the tea properly.

Dr Mainul Huq, director of the very serious Bangladesh Tea Research Institute, seems to give me here with his mischievous eyes an old alchemist recipe kept secret for a long time…

But what is there behind our daily cup of tea? Discovery through this reportage the black tea production in Bangladesh, lost in between the two huge world producers China (with Yunnan black tea) and India (Darjeeling black tea). In a country where production is barely sufficient to furnish domestic demand, enter in the backstage of black tea, from the tea fields to the tea factory.
