The series about the shipbreaking yards in Bangladesh (Chittagong) will be exhibited during the Festival of Photo-journalism BARROBJECTIF (France) from 18 to 26 september 2010.
It will be a selection of black and white prints whose a part can be seen on this website.
Before that, the recent series "Burmese From Myanmar" was exhibited in Paris (Pablo Neruda park, in St Genevieve des Bois) from 1st march to 15th april 2010. A total of 21 portraits were shown trough big size prints (100cm x 100cm). This series was awarded by the PX3 photojournalism prize (2nd place) in 2009.
, is expected to be exhibited in several places in 2010. The partnership with the french association INFO-BIRMANIE was more than ever at the heart of this exhibition (conference held by the author and INFO-BIRMANIE in Ste Genevieve des Bois).
This same series was already showed before in places related to the Photographic World, and through events or places dealing with human rights ('Peace and People House' - France 2008, 'Einewelthaus - Munich, Germany 2009).
